What we collect and why
When you submit an enquiry form, email or call us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, the site postcode or area, building type, the service you are interested in and your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and deliver services you ask us for. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where a contract follows, performance of that contract.
Where your information is stored
Website enquiries are transmitted securely and stored in MGN’s enquiry management system, hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure, and a notification is emailed to our office. This website is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data (such as IP address) to deliver the site securely and, where enabled, to protect our forms from automated abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile). We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties except service providers acting on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, where work follows, for the life of the contract plus the period required for our legal, insurance and warranty obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to work are reviewed and deleted periodically.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics in future this policy will be updated and any non-essential cookies will require your consent.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email hello@mgngroup.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
